Prestigious Ranking Exemplifies Company’s Leadership in Financial and Market Performance
Ayla Networks, a leading provider of Internet of Things (IoT) platform and solutions that are accelerating digital transformation for consumer brands and service providers, announced today that it has ranked in the top 15% of The Financial Times (FT) list of 500 on The Americas’ Fastest Growing Companies 2021.
The FT list, compiled with the research company Statista Inc., ranked entrants from across the Americas by compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in revenue between 2016 and 2019. Ayla’s CAGR for that period was 117.7%. Its absolute growth rate was 932.4%. The 2021 list is FT’s second annual report of companies in the Americas that have the highest growth in publicly disclosed revenues. It includes companies across several verticals including technology, healthcare, financial services, construction, energy, industrial goods among others. Nearly 10,000 companies applied for the award.
“It’s a tremendous achievement and honor for Ayla to be ranked by one of the world’s best financial publications within the top 15 percent of the top-performing companies in the Americas,” said Jonathan Cobb, Ayla Networks’ chief executive officer. “We’re particularly proud that Ayla is ranked in the top echelon of technology companies in this prestigious report as recognition of our economic growth, customer wins, and innovation strategy.”
Among technology companies, Ayla ranked Number 15 out of 140. The technology sector — made up primarily of United States companies — accounted for 28% of the overall list, according to FT.
Cobb pointed to Ayla’s innovative products and services, such as FastTrack IoT solution, the new artificial intelligence (AI) based analytics solution, and its expanding base of high-profile enterprise customers, as reasons for its stellar financial performance. Ayla’s FastTrack is aimed at simplifying IoT projects by helping OEMs launch connected products in a fraction of the time previously required, while the AI solution is gaining strong traction among communication service providers.
“The second annual FT Americas ranking offers a snapshot of the relative strength of companies as they entered the Covid pandemic — and points to those likely to have the resilience to emerge from the crisis in good health,” said FT’s Maxine Kelly in her introduction to the report.
